What’s been happening:

Ted Klein - Graduated in ChE in 1956. Shortly after graduating from State, I married a hometown girl, Dee Deiter, from Bethlehem, Pa. We have 2 sons. One is located in California and works for the IRS (Sorry, but he really is a good kid). The youngest son married a Thai girl and lived near us in Pensacola for 14 years. He since moved to Chaweng Beach, Thailand. He and his wife own and live in the Penzy Guest House on Koh Samui, an island and international resort area in Thailand. My first job after graduating was with United Technologies (Pratt & Whitney) in their research department located in Hartford Conn. Four years later I went with Monsanto Co. in Springfield Mass. Stayed there for 17 years and was transferred to Pensacola Fl., and retired after 17 more years. Most of this time was spent in technical. Major areas included computer color matching, and responsibility for the production computer. Dee and I left Pensacola after 3 hurricanes in 12 months, and are now retired in Gainesville, Ga. Lake Lanier in Gainesville was the site of the 1996 Olympic rowing venue. The Olympic site, including scull and sweep boats, was donated to the city. I have made good use of this facility in the last several years as rowing is an excellent exercise. Other hobbies include going to the gym regularly, bridge, crosswords, swimming, dancing, and watching Penn State football.
